What to Wear in Milan

Milan is one of the fashion capitals of the world. Women flock there for fashion inspiration and endless high-end boutiques. If you’ve decided to visit Milan to check out it’s rich history, you still need to know how to look chic in one of Italy’s most fashionable cities!

Look 1 – Seeing the Sights

I love this outfit because it gives you comfort with pops of color. The tapered pants bring out the mustard tones in the DVF scarf and the Gucci bag blends in well with the entire ensemble by bringing out the warm colors in the grey sweater and animal print flat.

1 JW Anderson Anchor-appliquéd cotton-jersey sweatshirt (net-a-porter; $335)

2 ISSA Bailey Wool-blend tapered pants (net-a-porter; $395)

3 Adrienne Vittadini Benson Flat (DSW; $69.95)

4 Gucci Jackie Soft Medium Textured-Leather Tote (net-a-porter; $2,990)

5 Diane von Furstenberg New Bubsy Jersey Printed Scarf (net-a-porter; $270)

Look 2 – Dining Out

This outfit screams Milanese-chic! While gold jewelry dominated the summer, I think fall is the perfect time for understated elegance, with a touch of fierceness (i.e., those Gianvito Rossi suede lace-up sandals). You can wear this outfit to any restaurant or show in this beautiful city and not worry about looking like an outsider.

1 Alexander McQueen Jacquard-knit wool-blend mini dress (net-a-porter; $2,160)

2 Oscar de la Renta Silver-Plated Crystal Necklace (net-a-porter; $895)

3 Gianvito Rossi Suede Lace-Up Sandal (Barneys; $1,100)

4 Ivanka Trump Ivanka Domed Minaudiere (Zappos; $150)
