Have you ever been unlucky enough to have the airlines lose your luggage? Sure, they promise to find it, but at the moment, they have no idea where your valuables are or when they’ll be able to locate them! If you’re really unlucky, you didn’t insure your luggage and will have to eat the cost and say goodbye to your favorite little black dress!
If you don’t want to lose your favorite outfits and valuables due to airline mix-ups, try investing in a luggage tracking system. The one that I use is Trakdot, which is awesome for tracking luggage virtually anywhere!
How it works:
Trakdot works by using local cell phone towers. It can turn itself on when it’s located on the ground (in luggage) and will turn itself off while on a plane. You can track your luggage from your mobile phone or by using Trakdot’s own secure log-in account for users. Apparently this can be used to track luggage anywhere in the world so it’s definitely worth the price.
$89.99 for activation, the first year of annual service fee, and the device itself. After that, all you would have to pay is $12.99 every year for the annual service.
