Entertainment centers are a huge challenge to shop for because you want them to blend in with the décor of the room, but also be function to hold things like your husband’s Play Station 4 and the DVR box. A friend of mine suggested I visit somewhere similar to Wayside Furniture House to find an entertainment set. I took the suggestion on board, but I decided on looking around little before settling on my final choice for my home. There is so much that I would love to get done to my house, but I’m not sure if I would be happy with it at the end of day – mainly because I just love changing things around. I did toy with the idea of getting some new ceiling lights for the living room, as this way it should help brighten the room up. I saw that Pagazzi has some great living room ceiling lights ideas but I might save that for another day. Instead, I will now just focus on sorting out the entertainment center for my living room.
I’m down to four options for my next entertainment center. My train of thought is I’m not willing to pay a lot for an entertainment center right now because I plan on getting all new furniture in a couple of years as well as a rug from bazaarvelvet.com. So…here are my choices:
Valenciara Entertainment Console – Price: $184.99
This entertainment center come in multiple colors and is large enough for a TV upgrade. The best part…the price is right!
Hemnes TV Unit – Price: $229
Ikea is known for its value and sleek design. I can easily see this entertainment center in my living room.
Montage 59″ Media Stand – Price: $339.15
I love all things Crate and Barrel, so I would be remiss if I did not include it on my list. This is a little more than my overstock option, but the design is perfect and simplistic!
Rustic Entertainment Center – Price: $500
I’m becoming a big fan of the whole rustic, farmhouse look that’s big in interior design. And although this entertainment center is at the top of the price range that I want to spend…I’m kind of thinking it’s worth it! I love Miami modern furniture and this entertainment center comes from a natural and sustainable source and has a reclaimed look, so it ticks lots of the Miami furniture trends boxes.
I’ll be sure to post a pic of the entertainment center I selected. Wish me luck!
