Gym Bag Essentials

I frequent the gym 4-5 times a week. Therefore, it’s important to have my gym bag packed with everything I’ll need beforehand so I am always prepared. I typically work out during my lunch break at work or after work but either way, I still need my trusty gym bag.  So, here are a few items I always try to have on hand for the gym.

Gym Clothes:

  • Capri pants
  • Quick dry t-shirt
  • Socks
  • Sports bra
  • Sneakers
  • Extra undies


  • Travel size body wash and shampoo
  • All-in-one facial wipe
  • Travel size tooth brush/paste
  • Travel size deodorant
  • Fem wipes
  • Travel size hairbrush or comb
  • Lotion

Gym Tools

  • Heart rate monitor
  • Hair tie
  • Waist sweat band
  • Towel/washcloth
  • Flip flops
  • Head phones
  • Plastic bag for sweaty gym clothes

  • Loved this article as I am making a list of items to put in my gym bag…and of course looking for a cute and colorful bag. Right not I just use a toe but my things are not organized and the contents of the bag is growing PPP (only shoes, gym skis, rope, tape…)

    • Lol, I swear I such at all things touch screen. That should say only shoes, gym shoes, rope, tape… No clue where the PPP came from!
