I know I already have a ring (and quite a nice one might I add…thanks babe <3). BUT, a girl can still appreciate variety and other models! Right? Just like looking at cars…you might have settled on a Lexus but that doesn’t mean the Mercedes is any less attractive or appealing! Plus, I’ll (and the husband) need to have an idea of what I want in 10 years, when I get my RING UPGRADE!!! lol #imjustsayin
Diamond 101 – 4 C’s – Cut, Color, Clarity, and Carat:
Cut: The cut of a diamond determines its brilliance. Ideal cut is best. Better cut = more sparkle (who doesn’t want a little sparkle???)
Color: A diamond’s color grade refers to the lack of color. Diamonds that are white = little or no color, which are > than those with visible color. The color scale ranges from Z-N (noticeable color) to D (absolutely colorless…THE BEST)
Clarity: All diamonds have tiny imperfections. Diamonds with few or no imperfections = highest clarity grades. Clarity ranges from I1,I2,and I3 (included/flawed), Sl1,and Sl2 (slightly included), VS1 and VS2 (very slightly included), and VVS1 and VVS2 (very very slightly included…aka…what Beyonce was talking about in her song; UPGRADE YOU and I’m lucky to have received! THANKS BABE!!! =) to FL, IF (flawless/internally flawless)
Carat: A diamonds WEIGHT not SIZE!!! (The part of the ring a lot of women are concerned with…but let me say this. If you get a 3-carat ring and its cloudy and not gleaming then what’s that point?)
QUALITY over QUANTITY ladies! Small & shiny over large & dull!!!
Know what you like laides…help your man out!! = )
