Cookbooks…Thing of the Past?

When was the last time you opened a cookbook? I have three, which I have probably flipped through a couple of times, but I haven’t made one dish from them! I don’t know if you have seen the movie “Julia and Julia,” where the main character tackles Julia Childs massive cookbook Mastering the Art of French Cooking, but I totally wouldn’t mind trying out a few things in her cookbook.

If I need a recipe or want to try something new, I do what millions of people across the globe do: I Google it. Millions of recipes at my finger tips with the click of a button and presto, I have a glorious meal prepared that I otherwise wouldn’t have without this new age of cookery. So, whether you’re a seasoned chef or just staring out on your cooking skills, I thought I’d highlight a few sites I like to use from time to time to find some awesome recipes.

Divas Can Cook: Monique’s blog will show you how to whip up some flavorful, slap-yo-mama (and get slapped right back) dishes all from scratch! It’s for girls who still want to know how to get down in the kitchen and make those signature southern dishes!
