Of all the features on our face to take care of the lips often receive the least amount of attention. Our lips can also show us if we have any internal issues, such as infections like cold sores. Using lip care products from companies like Quantum Health can help treat them properly. Our lips allow us to express ourselves through speech, food, and love. So it is a wonder that I see dry, cracked and chapped lips everywhere. Perhaps you just haven’t found the right remedy to soften them because you think that constantly licking them like LL Cool J is enough. Fyi, that just makes things worse. But fear not! Read on for some of my tried and tested lip balms that will keep your lips supple, moisturized and give you the perfect pout. From using Carmex and Vaseline to something like a CBD lip balm that can be found on sites like cannaunion.com/, keeping lips hydrated may not be an issue for much longer! I mean, isn’t it everyone’s dream to have amazing lips everyday? That’s why it is important to get as many tips as you can to help achieve the perfect look. And having a look at the best lip balms is a great place to start!
Smiths’ Rosebud Salve $10 – This lip balm is truly my absolute FAVE! I have now been using it for over 10 years and discovered it in a beauty shop called Boots when I lived in England. I love this stuff because it heals/cures EVERYTHING. It doesn’t matter whether it’s a cut, scrape, or burn or where it is this stuff heals it EVERY time. It’s great not just for your lips but anywhere you need a little extra attention.
Burt’s Bee Beeswax Lip Balm $7 – All natural and excellent for combatting dry lips. It works great on a daily basis and leaves a nice tingly feeling.
Carmex $3-$7 – This lip balm is moisturizing and healing for those lips that are really dry, chapped and/or plagued with cold sores. It’s long lasting and my go to for harsh winter weather or if I feel like my lips need a bit of a healing. Just beware that it has a strong scent depending on the formula you choose. If you plan to apply to cracked lips you might feel a little sting
Chapstick $3 – This was my first lip balm/intro to lipsticks/gloss. It was all my parents would allow me to wear in my younger days and so of course I was obsessed with the Cherry flavor because it gave me a hint of rouge and made me feel grown. But now in my more mature state I still think it’s a great lip balm. My husband uses the original and his lips are ALWAYS kissable soft, and hydrated because their formula contains aloe, vitamin E and SPF protection.
Evolution of Smooth (EOS) $4-$7 – All natural and packed with antioxidants, vitamin E, shea butter and jojoba oil which keeps lips super moist, soft and smooth. This little wonder is also great because it glides on easily and the packaging makes it easy to store and apply.
Keihl’s Lip Balm $7 – I discovered this little treasure while in college in a Sephora gift bag from a fashion show I attended and I fell in LOVE! You can apply it once and see the difference immediately!
Maybelline New York Baby Lips $4– I had seen a few YouTube and IG reviews of this stuff so I had to see what all the fuss was about! I too became a believer! This stuff instantly hydrates your lips and comes in awesome shades/flavors. It really has a long staying power and offers a great sheen for the perfect pout!
