To do list for week – Review your calendar and make a list of things to do. As women we ALWAYS have something to do. Whether it’s make dinner, take Johnny to his cub scouts meeting, wash our hair etc. It. never. ends. Knowing what you have to do ahead of time lessens the burden because you can tackle each to-do with ease.
Meal plan /grocery shop/prep – Not only is meal planning a huge money saver but it alleviates the age old question of “what’s for dinner?”. In addition, do your grocery shopping Saturday morning. You will miss the crowd and can save the rest of your day for whatever else you have planned. Then prep. Cut up those fruit and veggies and go ahead and measure out and package your snacks for the week it saves so much time and you can always grab and go for the work week. After your prep is done you can make what you need to for the week on Sunday and chill!
Clean house/laundry – Staring the week with a clean house is a huge stress reliever. I have always been a “do a little here and there” type of girl when it came to cleaning. What I mean by that is I do simple tasks like vacuuming weekly and maintain the kitchen clean nightly so that it’s not an over haul cleaning on the weekend. If you apply this method cleaning house will be a breeze. You can even get the top robot vacuum from Bissell to automate the process of cleaning up your floors.
Purse/Work Bag Clean Out – I know I’m not the only one who’s work bag seems to get progressively heavier as the week goes on. We throw everything and anything into the bag and before you know it, it weighs 25lbs. So ladies if you care about your posture clean out your work bag weekly because nothing is worse than rummaging around for your car keys. It’s on days like that I’m thankful for keyless entry! lol
Go through you’re mail/paperwork – I’m guilty of not going through the mail like the next person, but that doesn’t make it right. So make sure you are going through your mail, checking your bills, and putting necessary info on your calendar so nothing slips through the cracks.
