2Cellos – Feb 21 – DAR Constitution Hall – $48- $68 – Luka Sulic and Stjepan Hauser are a two performers that will insure you get your money’s worth. The duo performs songs that included Michael Jacksons “Smooth” and other rock and pop songs. Check them out if you’re looking of something fun and different.
MAGfest – Feb 18- 21, Gaylord National Harbor, $70-$75 – If you love magazines then this is definitely your thing. It might not be as glamorous as Comic Con but it will be a gathering of at least 20,000 to gush over live-action-role playing for every video game ever. So make sure you get your Mario Brothers Costume Together.
Astronaut Academy – Feb 12-13, 20,+ 27, National Air and Space Museum., Free – Don’t act like you never thought about taking a quick trip to the moon! With movies like E.T., and Armageddon space exploration has been instilled in us from an early age! And now you can take your kids for a 90 minute session. So live through them for a little while and use that 90mins of uninterrupted time to enjoy a latte or a nice book read! You’re welcome.
