A Good Quality Camera
I know what you going to say…I spent a lot of money on my photographer, Ann! This suggestion is not to take anything away from your photographer, but looking back, it would have been nice to have some pics of “The Big Day” from my own POV. This day will go by faster than you think, making it a good idea to capture those little moments like your 103 year old Nanna doing the Electric Slide. Besides, you will need a camera for the honeymoon anyways…so think of it as a two for one.
Lip Gloss with Built-In Moisturizer
My wedding day was filled with tears, lots of dancing, and alcohol! All of these things can lead to what I like to call “severe crusty lip” syndrome. I was so dehydrated, which dried out my lips, that I had to take a sip of water before every picture. Thankfully, my maid of honor had an extra lip gloss with moisturizer included.
Comfortable And Cute Pajamas
I certainly didn’t think of this! I packed my very best Victoria Secret outfit fully expecting to use it, only to find myself passed out in the bed next to my hubby after one of the longest (yet fastest) days of my life! I could have slept in my comfy t-shirt and boy shorts instead of spilling out of my Vickie outfit every time I rolled over in the middle of the night. And while I’m at it, I would throw in an honorable mention of a hair scarf. Let’s face it, if you’re not participating in some extracurricular activities on your wedding night, you might as well wrap up your hair!
I hope these tips help you to remember what to pack in preparation for the big day!
